History

STS Selected Technological Supplies S.r.l. was founded in May 1984 by Giorgio Cabai, after 20 years of professional experience in the steel industry.

The idea was to create a specialized company involving the best technical skills and experience among colleagues to realize successful projects for the steel industry. The original team is the vital seed of capability and know-how that enables innovation and development in the design and implementation of new projects.In 2003 S.T.S Services s.r.l., a new company dedicated to automation and technical design, has been added to STS to comply with modern industry needs. With the creation of S.T.S. Services s.r.l. we added in-house design capability for the provision of complete plants to clients. S.T.S. Services has achieved great results also in nonferrous plants, in rock wool production plants and in home automation.

Over the years STS has supplied several complete rolling mills, several steel melting shops, complete water treatment plants, plus many complete new casters, new machine injection in existing casters and many partial revamping of casters.

STS is recognized internationally as the strongest manufacturer of continuous casting machines at the highest level and with user’s friendly technology.
Our aim is to constantly improve in a joint effort to provide and be the best very day.Since year 2000 our company is certified ISO 9001:2000 for:

The certification has been an opportunity to optimize our organization and safety rules.
